The three terminals would have facial recognition and without the home button
The innovations of Apple around the iPhone have not ended despite the sale of its latest device just a few weeks ago. The iPhone X met expectations, with thousands of sales made and with fans eager to try it. Among its new features are its OLED screen and its facial recognition system ( Face ID ) that caused the removal of the home button and the fingerprint reader.
In order to promote the Apple is now preparing a new shipment of iPhone for 2018 with similar characteristics to the X, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in the report prepared by KGI Securities. The three new devices would have similar qualities, including in each one the current full-screen design (with the Face ID), the TrueDepth Camera system and an infrared spot projector. So, where is the difference between each one? Simply, on the screen.
The first model would be a 5.8-inch device like the iPhone X (that is, it would only be an updated iPhone X ). The other two would have a larger screen. The most, 6.5 inches according to KGI, will have OLED screen, while the remaining, 6.1, would have an LCD screen, like the iPhone 8. This latest new smartphone would be commercialized at a cheaper price (between $ 649 and $ 749) compared to the iPhone X for its lower resolution screen and for having lower cost construction materials. Thus, the objective of the multinational with this “modest” price is to reach the mid-range public.
According to the report, the iPhone will be leaving aside the Touch technology next year to make way for the Face ID pioneered in the iPhone X. In this way, it would improve the security of Apple’s star devices. In addition, the stainless steel bands will be improved in the two terminals that have an OLED screen to allow a better data transfer.
